Breaking Free from Mental Illness
Breaking Free is an evidence-based integrated therapy program that enables patients to identify targeted issues and emotional triggers, along with appropriate coping mechanisms.
Patients receive motivational enhancement therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and a 12-step facilitation therapy. This helps them discover and recognize the issues related to their mental illness and trains them to manage their problems without the need for drugs or alcohol.
By addressing both the addictive behavior and associated negative emotions, patients come to understand their disorder and how to make positive choices to control and overcome it.
