Physician Billing Specialist – (FT- experience in physician billing within Medicare, Medicaid and HMO/PPO required): The Physician Billing Specialist is responsible for all the physician professional fee billings. The specialist will ensure that all hospital and physician payor contracting is organized and finalized at the facility level to ensure accurate and timely billing of professional services. Specialist will be responsible for reconciling hospital census and physician billing records to ensure billing compliance. Requires a close working relationship with the billing service and out of state hospitals on follow-up and collection of assigned patient accounts. Responsible to ensure paperwork and filing is done for all applicable payors and that all third-party logs are updated. This position is for AscendHealth’s corporate business office.

Recreational Therapist – (PRN; CTRS): Responsible for planning and implementing activity services for assigned program, which involves defining and implementing treatment goals as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and providing continuous patient care, observation, interaction, and role modeling to patients.

Admissions Coordinator – (FT) 1:30 pm – 10:00 pm: Responsible for verifying benefits and eligibility on admission inquiries, preparing admission folders, collecting co-pays/deductibles from patients, assisting with establishing effective and timely payment plans, coordinating with utilization review and discharge planning efforts to limit risk of non-payment, providing ongoing patient benefit information, participating in patient discharge procedures, and coordinating financial arrangements with collection personnel

Program Therapist – Adult, Youth, Women’s, and Faith (PRN): Performs social service functions to include assisting patients in meeting their bio-psychosocial needs while enabling them to access through therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health, including basic consultation, teaching, complete specialized chemical social work services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, short-term and long-term family therapy, and providing information and referrals as needed.

Program Therapist – Co-Occurring Disorders Program (FT): Master’s Level Required

Program Therapist – Military Program (FT-weekdays & some weekends): Trauma and Chemical Dependency. License Required

Community Liaison (FT, Tarrant County ): Implements the philosophy, policy, procedures, systems and strategic goals set forth by the senior management team while maximizing referral potentials from assigned accounts, and developing new business to achieve the goals and objectives of the business development systems.

Military Liaison (FT, Killeen Area): Implements the philosophy, policy, procedures, systems and strategic goals set forth by the senior management team while maximizing referral potentials from assigned accounts, and developing new business to achieve the goals and objectives of the business development systems.

Crisis Interventionist (PRN): Responsible for providing mobile clinical assessment and coordinating appropriate level of care as clinically determined. This position provides support services to the Care Center and assists in the pre-certification of insurance and memorandum of transfer as needed from on hospital to another. State Licensure required (RN, LMSW, LCSW, LPC, or LPCI)

Care Center Assessment Counselor (FT & PRN): Responsible for assisting in the process of responding to referrals and other requests for services and information. The Assessment Counselor provides technical assistance to the discharge planning process, under the direction of the Director of Assessment Services and provides general support to the case management program.

Care Center Specialist (Overnight; FT & PRN): Responsible for assisting in the process of receiving, scheduling and/or referring inquiry calls. Assist the Care Center Intake Counselors, Coordinators and Director with coordinating assessments, initiating Intake paperwork and insurance information. Work with Admission Clerk to ensure smooth transition into the admission process.

Nursing Supervisor (Evenings; RN, BSN Preferred with Previous Experience in Psych/Supervisory): Responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and hospital policy, goals and objectives. This position assists in contributing to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, educational and Performances Improvement efforts, while providing supervision to the nursing staff assigned to his/her unit.

RNs (FT 3p-11p & PRN with Previous Experience in Psych): Prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.

Techs (PRN): Functions as an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients ranging in age from preschool through geriatrics depending on which unit worked. Work under the direction of the RN.

Van Drivers (PRN): Provides transportation of patients to and from the facility providing continuous observation, interaction, and role modeling to the patients while maintaining safety at all times. Applicant must maintain a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

Housekeeper (PRN): Provides complete daily housekeeping routines such as cleaning patient rooms, offices, and public areas, while ensuring a safe and risk preventative environment within OSHA regulations.

Dietary Aide (PRN): Responsible for the following: assisting with preparing the salad bar, maintaining an adequate supply of beverages, ensuring the cafeteria and dining room remain clean at all times, assisting in the preparation and delivery of patient meals and room supplies, operating the dish machine, assisting the cook as required and stocking kitchen necessities on each floor as required.

Cook (PRN): Responsible for the preparation and service of breakfast, lunch and dinner meals for patients and facility staff according to the approved menu cycle and production sheets.
